Lachlan LeonardSpring has officially started in Orlando, which basically just means it’s hot all the time now. Every day is sitting around 30°C, and I’m already mentally preparing for the summer heat because it’s only gonna get worse from here!
The highlight of the past couple weeks was getting to see some friends from Christchurch! They came to visit, and I got to take them to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios for the first time, which was the best. There’s something so fun about seeing people experience Disney for the first time — like their reactions to the fireworks, their first time on Guardians of the Galaxy, just all of it. Plus, any excuse to be in the parks on my days off is a win.
My friend and I also went to a Lady Gaga-themed club night the other night, and it was so much fun. The DJ had taste, so it wasn’t just the big hits we got lots of fan favourites too, which was a nice surprise. Pretty sure I lost my voice singing along, but honestly, worth it. Definitely a night to remember. (Fingers crossed I get tickets for when she comes to Miami in a few months
Other than that, not much new to report. Spring break is in full swing, so work has been insane. Living with the Land has been packed, but hey at least the time flies when it’s busy. That’s about it for now! Catch you next time when I’m probably sweating even more.
