Not the most action-packed month, but July definitely had its moments — including something top-secret I’m finally allowed to share!
A few weeks ago, I had the chance to attend a cast preview for the newly updated Test Track 3.0 at EPCOT, and it was such a cool experience seeing the ride before it opened to the general public.
The new version blends modern aesthetics with retro nods to the original ride which opened in 1999, featuring updated visuals, sleek new ride vehicles, and an all-new soundtrack.
But here’s where things get exciting… Back in May, I was participated in something called ‘Test Track Support’ — and it was truly one of the most surreal experiences I’ve had here in the States.
Before the ride reopened, EPCOT Cast Members could sign up for a special 4-hour shift that basically involved riding Test Track back-to-back over and over again to help with testing and fine-tuning.
I managed to ride it 8 times in a row!
At that point, the ride was still working out some final touches — screens, effects, and audio weren’t fully show-ready yet — and before we boarded, our phones had to be taped up (camera and mic) and we were strictly instructed not to speak about anything we saw or did.
The ride is the fasted at all of Walt Disney World, reaching a top speed of 65 miles! (104kmh)
Not every day you get to be part of something like that!
Outside of Disney, I went to see some drag queens perform, including none other than Roxxxy Andrews, who’s been on 3 seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Such a fun time, I’ll definitely go back and see them again soon!
I also spent some time back at Universal with some of the most incredible people I’ve met during my time here — Rebecca, Rafa, and Rachel — who’ve genuinely become my family away from home.
They’ve welcomed me with such open arms and endless laughs. Rebecca in particular is one of the funniest people I’ve ever met — there is never a dull moment with her around.
Speaking of my family away from home, we just got back from a day trip to Daytona Beach, which is just over an hour away.
We hit the outlets for some shopping, then visited the one and only Buc-ee’s — which is more than just a petrol station; it’s a whole cultural experience.
Over 80 pumps, a supermarket-sized store, fresh brisket sandwiches, a bakery, homeware, souvenirs — you name it, they’ve got it.
It’s really one of those things you have to just see it to believe it, and to fully understand what’s going on.
We also stopped by Bass Pro Shops, which I can only describe as Hunting & Fishing on steroids.
The Florida sun is still relentless — every day feels hotter than the last and I’m sweating more than I thought humanly possible.
That’s about it for July!
Next month’s update should be a whole lot more exciting — my trips to Miami are just around the corner, and I. CANNOT. WAIT. Katy Perry & Gaga, I’ll see you really soon

Until then!
